here are a few good signs that keep coming around. Look at the back of the ears in the first pic, if you think the ticks aren't BAD this year, think again. We have to jump from the porch to the truck to keep from getting ticks on us. The poor old deer are having to put up with them.











this next deer has recovered from a nasty wound probably cause by the coyotes, see him now and then last December. Nature has amazing heeling capablities

Very cool Weekender.

We saw a small bachelor group last night and they all had about 3" w/ knobs on the ends. One was gonna be at least a 6 and the other two were either forks or spikes.

I've seen a few of these "four poster" deer feeders around on some county owned properties in the thick of yuppie land. Not sure if they are publicly available yet, but seem to be working a little.

My dad just pulled a small tick of his leg after walking around out neighborhood and is going on antibiotics to make sure he's clear from Lyme.

Good to see that buck recover, and his rack seems to be unaffected by the wounds.
