'Box I did some checking apparently my memory sucks. The incident happened in Selma NC and the Grand Jury decided not press charges because he didnt intend to hurt the guy. I only suggested the permenant so they couldnt sue. I fully stand behind your idea to hold and torture I mean educate.

I left a climber on a tree b/c I was hunting the same spot the next afternoon. Came back only to find it was stolen. Tree stand thieves should be punished by a firing squadron, they're lower than low.

Not only are they trespassing, but they probably know that you're hunting the area and they go looking for them. True scum of the earth...

You could misstake them for a pile of shit and shoot a few practice arrows into them. I don't know if this will help you guys or not. I allways take a steel plate drill out a half inch hole in it and bolt the stand with a 4' lagg bolt to the tree. One it makes it way hard for an oppertunist to steal and also really deadens the stand-no noise or movement at all. Scotty.

we have lost several, what really sucks is when it's your property from which they steal them. So they were trepassing, probably poaching when they found it, then steal it. I want a GPS tracking chip that calls my cell if my stand or feeder moves 3', also pops a screen up on my computer with a map showing the track it's taking. You see it on TV on the cop shows, it's out there. Anybody know about such things?

That is the one thing that really ticks me off! I can not stand a low life thief that a mans treestand or steals anything for that matter! I think a trap would be in order for sure! I would definately set the low life piece of crap up somehow!

I'VE GONE BACK TO MAKING MY LADDER STANDS FROM TREATED WOOD INSTEAD OF BUYING STORE BOUGHT. THEY ARE HEAVY AS HELL AND IF THEY WANT THEM THAT BAD THEY CAN WORK THEIR ASSES OFF TO GET THEM OUT OF THE WOODS. MOST THIEVES ARE TOO LAZY TO WORK HARD ENOUGH....THAT'S WHY THEY ARE THIEVES.
