I don't know WTF is going on but here is a hunting report

Well i hunted what was supposed to be the best days (1/9-1/11) and saw some deer, two of which were bucks. They were too small. We are in zone 3 and have a 12" inside spread or 15" main beam limit. Our club goes by the MS rules. I think there have been 6 or 7 more bucks taken since the the 4th. Most just small but one that scores in the 160's.

My Guest over part of the time I was up last week, was Captain Eric Dumas. He guides for inshore species and targets the Pontchartrain Basin. He killed a whopper sow, 245lbs.

Our gun season goes until the 19th and then our very liberal primitive weapons season from the 20th until the 31st. then all things deer are over.
