I haven't seen any sign of antlers for awhile. I have been looking for shed antlers with no luck. Seats will be needed some time in April. Mite as well make Turkey season April 24. I'm going to do a youth hunt on the 22nd & 23rd.

I saw a nice basket racked 6pt yesterday. Couldn't believe it. Figured all the antlers were on the ground by now.

I think the warm winter has some thing to do with that.I shed hunt up here in north end of Md. and have been seeing alot of deer with horns still on.I only found about 10 good sheds so far.

I think I'm gonna go shed hunting tomorrow. Central MD...there have got to be some out there somewhere and the damn woods near me have some beasts that can't be hunted.....legally.

I am starting to get a good # of nice horns.

Any ideas of what I could do with them and Does any one know what type of glue or epxoy to use? I would love to make one of those antler lights.

I'd say you could drill holes halfway through each antler where you want to connect them and use a "dowel" be it wood or metal and epoxy it in place with 30 min or better epoxy. The 5 min stuff would probably work too.

Take a bunch of antlers and lay them out and use tape or wire ties to lay it out. Mark them up with something removeable and start the drilling and glueing.

I walked a few trails yesterday in Harford County and didn't find any. Did jump a few deer and one had some thump to his step...had to be a big 10 from my trail cam.

gonna check out the woods near the house next week.

marty, don't forget that you showed me where your spot is when doug and i came over a few weeks back. i could slip in there real easily with my crossbow. and yes, i do have the disabled permit for it so i am 100% legal.
go ahead and do my legwork for me, keep'em fed good this year so they will fat for when i stick their ass next fall. just kidding, you know i wouldn't slip into your spot without you knowing. i would at least come by and show you what i killed there. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
