I,WALKED THE LINE FOR HUNTING RIGHTS AGAIN TODAY IN NEW JERSEY. AROUND 100 ANTIS FROM THE ANIMAL PROTECTION LEAGUE OF NEW JERSEY, ON ONE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND AROUND 80 HUNTERS AND HOMEOWNERS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD, ALONG WITH THE LOCAL POLICE MIXING IN.

ANTIS CARRIED ON PRETTY GOOD, AND THE HUNTERS REMAINED CLAM AND COLLECTIVE.

THINGS WILL HEAT UP SOME AS THE BEAR HUNT DRAWS CLOSER.

And as a homeowner in Northern NJ , I appreciate your efforts to keep the hunt! I like bears, they are a beautiful animal. However, there needs to be management as they no longer fearful of humans.

Where was the "event"?

The last time they protested (during the last hunt a few years ago) there were a lot less protesters. They all gathered down in Newark to car pool up to "Bear Country" but none of them had a car.

I LIKE BEARS MYSELF, I HAVE ENDLESS HOURS OF VIDEO OF THEM AND THE THINGS THEY DO, BUT THEY ARE A UNIQUE PREDATOR THAT SOMEHOW GETS LOST IN ANTI-HUNTING CONVERSATIONS. TO MANY PEOPLE JUST DON'T THINK THESE ANIMALS ARE NOT CAPABLE OF SUCH THINGS OTHER THAN RAIDING THE GARBAGE.

I HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR THESE ANIMALS, I HAVE BEEN CHASED, BITTEN, CHARGED, BRUSHED, SPIT ON, AND EVEN RUN OVER BY THEM AND THE ONE THING THAT REALLY HAS MY CONCERN IS THE FACT THAT NEW JERSEY BEARS HAVE NO FEAR WHATSOEVER OF MAN AND THAT IS A REAL PROBLEM AND SOONER OR LATER BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN, IT HAS TO THERE IS JUST TO MUCH INTER ACTION BETWEEN MAN AND THE BEARS.

I WILL DO MY PART BOTH AS A HUNTER AND SPORTSMAN.

THE LAST "EVENT" THEY HELD WAS AT DOVER, NJ, 401 ROUTE 46 AKA ROCKAWAY TWP. THIS PAST SATURDAY.
