horns a dropping

saw a buck tonight that had dropped one horn and another that had dropped both. Guess it's shed hunting time or getting close to it.

I have found 4 already. Found a set 10 feet apart, but with about 8 inchs of snow I'll have to wait a little longer.

No. but it's not uncommin for bucks to disappeer and not see them till the falling fall. I have feeder up and cameras out but with the weather we are having there is very little movement.

got a shed with five on one side and cant find the other. He rubbed it off on a cedar. You just never know how long in between drops they travel. Don't know to look before the tree and after. Don't know which direction is before and after. Guess thats why its called hunting and not finding.
