    hoping for velvet

Neither Kay nor I have been able to take a deer in velvet. We don't usually hunt anywhere out of state in the early season and most years most of "our" bucks are rubbed off by opening day. This one better pay attention tomorrow or Kay will give him some new breathing holes. We have his pattern down pretty good and most days like today, the day before season, he is out at least 45 minutes before dark.

I hope she gets the chance:

I am hoping to see some still fuzzy in Nebraska next week.
"THE BOX" will be here tomorrow and the fun will start.

1/2 of my bucks were rubbed off last weekend.

Great report: Short, right to the point, gotta love bowhunting. A bow allows you to see so much more.
