The excitement just never ends. This evening, right after it got dark I heard a racket coming from my chicken yard. It was my RAT TERRIER "RAT", she seemed to have something "TREED" in the chicken coop. THinking it probably was a house cat, I headed to the yard empty handed. Boy was this a mistake tonight. It seems a coon had gotten into the pen and couldn't do his work and get away with out getting a rise out of the rat terrier. She was hysterical to say the least. That mad coon, which had already gotten the taste for blood by killing three hens, was some kinda p*ssed off. Rat was just as mad. I did't know what to do at first. Then I got the Idea to get out my walker pup, HOOTIE, and see what she thought of the situation. Once again she made light work out of that hefty old sow. Her and Rat made a team. Once they had the coon UNDER CONTROL I retreived it and took it out the fenced in yard. Then I got my old dog(CASEY) out so she could investigate the critter. She was livid. I got some pics with my ****NEW CAMERA****. I sent the coon over to the neighbors house. They enjoyed the last one, and were very happy to have another. Maybe I should have given them the hens also,in hindthought. Now I gotta dig a hole to bury them. They were good laying hens too.

Well, lets see how the camera worked. Just a little warning, I haven't figured out how to size the pic yet. (Seems they forgot to put instructions in with my NEW CAMERA). My son will help teach me tommorow he said. I took these pics in the complete dark, Think that feature works nice. Lit the pic up like it was daytime.
