Are you only allowed to take them during the waterfowl seasons, and do you need a license?

I know a Polack from MD that has a 10 ga. and wants to see some splashage!!!

Dave, i just got done reading the delaware limts and bag info brochure and it says " Mute Swan Unprotected." looks like you can set up for them anytime. right now where i hunt it is frozen so not sure hwere they moved off too. keep in touch and maybe we can get together and shoot them sometime before it gets warm.

Nice hunt. It looks like MD. won be able to shoot Mutes for 4 more years.

When we were hunting snow geese in a field in DE. my buddy was like look at the swans we can shoot them they are mutes. I saw the all black bill and was thinking they were Tundras. I was right they were Tundras thankfully we didnt shoot any but it says in the regs. that the mutes do not feed in fields.

    How do they taste?

I'm down for a Mute Shoot when you are!!!

Nick they probably taste like shit. I've heard if you want to eat a swan, shoot the grey ones.

I just want to see the splash and get the non native bastards out of the area. If MD folks would get their heads out of their asses we could shoot them here.
