    Grand American / treeing contest

    Congratulations to all the winners, treeing contest, bench show and night hunt. I would like to thank everyone who came out to show support for one of my favorite pastimes. Turnout for the 45th Grand American Coon Hunt was good. There were 297 dogs cast out Saturday night.

    Quality Time in The Wood's,

    I haven't coon hunted for year's now. Had a bluetick named Rock, one of the most beautiful hound's I've ever seen. I like to hunt 1 dog by myself, very personal that way. No place like the deep wood's at 1 AM, listening to your dog treed. Not much problem bumping into other hunter's either. Frank

    Like Frank, I have a soft spot for a Bluetick hound, nothing like running through mountin streams at night with that hound baying that treed coon.
