    That's a little different than our fried hard crabs...

    Pop off the top... Stuff a big MARYLAND lump crabcake in the cavity... Dip it in a batter similar to "corndog" batter, then fry till brown...

    Come on, GLENN!!! You've seriously never had one???

    Cape Fisherman hit the nail on the head with cleaning them. The small ones will make your tongue slap your teeth out your mouth.. but the Jimmys are good too!

    No Saxis, Cedar Island is in Pamlico Sound just inside of Ocracoke. About 40 miles from Beaufort and Morehead City.
