That's putting meat in the freezer.
I've only hunted out of one of those fancy layout blinds one time--- didn't have any problems with a stiff neck at all--- maybe it was due to falling asleep like a baby in a crib for a good part of the afternoon--- those dang things are comfy.
The geese in Central Va. seem to be way late this year.
Question for you, would you think they would be totally water proof in about 2" of water?

Cabelas sells one that is waterproof to 10", or so it says. I bought one. I will let you know how it works once I figure out how to put it together.

We use ours in 2 to 6 inches of mud & water all the time & other than the water you track in on your body & boots they stay dry. If it is raining hard or you set them in 4"+ of water we wear old waders to keep dry.

We hunt with the Avery Finisher layouts and they are very comfy and dry.
