Glad its here

I am so glad this season has come to an end. It has been a long two+ weeks of hunting everyday, just till right at the last light yesterday. My hounds will sure be glad to sleep in in the morning.


Here is the highlight of our season. Young Gracie was down on her luck this season until 4:30 yesterday evening when she killed this deer at the farm. Her plans were to sit my stand, as she did earlier this week, but today the neighbors had other plans. She was in the stand for about ten minutes and someone let out a pack of hounds on the next track of land. The dogs were on the corn pile in short order, but that did not kill her spirit. She swapped up with her dad and got his shot gun and got in a good position in the field. Great job Gracie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
