Setting drinking a much needed Cup of Jo this morning, pushed snow just past 3AM. Boys come in after morning sledding, Wyatt and Ewing ask if they could hunt off the Tiki Hut/Tree House. I say yes thinking squirrel(.22). Ewing is putting his boots on and the house exploded(not .22 but .243)... freakin deer... I told the boys "NO MORE DEER"... On a possitive side, it did drop in its tracks. Getting the knife out as we speak. DO YOU FEEL MY PAIN?

This is what Wyatt found when field dressing. I guess shooting squirrels in the head out to 60 yds with .22 makes a deer at 50 yds seem unfair.
