Dave, did you shoot them or run them over!!!! Have you seen any birds on the Talbot lease? I talked to Jonathan the other day and he was saying its looking dismal for birds..... Deer on the other hand.....
I havent even bought my license yet as there are no geese/ducks down here yet. This weather has my mind on fishing and rodbuilding and not on the geese!
We shot over decoys one day, sculled and pass shot on the other two.
That pic was about 3 miles offshore and there was no shooting involved
My glasses were covered in mist from all of the water coming off of the ducks. The flock was 3 miles long and spread out about a mile wide. It was insane to say the least.
The geese have been few and far between and I'd say the deer hunting has basically sucked too. I passed on a decent 8 on Halloween, but haven't seen much since, does nor bucks.
If this crap keeps up around here I'm headed back to the Cape. My license is good for the rest of the year.
