Flocking Heads?
Anyone ever flocked their own heads on big foot decoys? I just picked up 5 dozen for next to nothing and wanted to know if I should mess with it or not. Most of my goose decoys are fully flocked, so I guess I can just mix them through the spread or is it worth it to go through the trouble of flocking?
Any thoughts?

I've shot plenty of geese without flocked heads. I think it's mostly for the hunter instead of the geese.
On the other hand I do have a flocking kit down in the shop and was planning on flocking a few birds of mine that aren't.
I did test one head and found out that the factory job looks better than I can do.
To tell you the truth I probably won't get them done before the season. I have a feeling it won't change how many birds end up in the bag.

Flocked heads
There is no doubt that flocking those heads will make a huge diffrence in your apperance in the field. I would suggest buying just the heads from Big foot . Those flocked heads in my opinion put geese on the ground and give them the confidence to do it on that first or second pass. If you like to shoot them rite I would spend the extra coin . No doubt.
