seapower, here is what can happen at over 300 fps at 31 yards with a well dampened/silenced conventional bow, much quiter than the crossbow...

you're better than me! Round 2, would have included lead of some fashion! I'm not saying it can't happen, just haven't had it myself. Hog's are pretty quick too, especially when spooked. Good photo's. Frank

Thanks Man, I'll get back out with Dave for sure. He's got a nice set up down there and I thank him for having me down.
Thats a cool older thread with that deer jumping the string. I can't wait to get back at it. Thanks to all for your encouragement and following my adventure.
