First published vid of a hunt

Can't say I did anything special to this vid, but it is the first to make it to the net off of my new camera.

Now that I know how to do it I'll get some more footage up from the trip out west and my various hunting adventures throughout the season.

enjoy the sounds of a suburban reservior hunt.

well damn if a climber isn't a shit ton of work....packed my vid cam, still cam, knife and other goodies in my pack, strapped it to the stand and headed off into the darkness.

Mike lead the way and by 5:45 we were each up a tree.

I'm along a draw and mike is about 15yds to my left.

plenty of white oaks around up here, they're dropping acorns all over. even on me. sounds like a bowl of rice crispies out here

perfect weather

5 does. 2 differnt groups. 2 skirted behind us @ about 75. 3 came in like they were on a string. it was perfect.

got to about 20 and saw mike as he went to draw.....he did good, but these yuppie deer are good. real good.

it's all on tape.

No wife....That's how I "afford" all of these toys...

and I forgot....this is PUBLIC LAND. $25 permit for the year or $3 a day.

Nice work Dave you were still as a rock. Did you get any footage of the does you shot the other day?

No footage of the does. My dad could have easily been filming but for some reason I left the camera home.

If I'm lucky tomorrow will yield some more deer footage once the duckin day is over.
