Finally...a limit!

Well, finally got a limit of ducks this morning. While everyone else was sleeping off their hangovers dad and I went out in 25 knot wind and temps in the 60's to get a limit of teal and a pair of hairheads to go along with it. Only Blackducks we saw were just prior to shooting time and we decided not to chance it...Johnny Law has been everywhere this year. Not a bad way to start of 2007. Happy New Year everyone.

Sorry to bust your bubble buddy, but they changed the law in Virginia this year on Mergansers--- they no longer count against you in your real duck limit, i.e., separate catagory like Mud Hens.

Glad to hear someone seeing some birds. I'm braving the bone chilling 50+ weather and full moon to give my spot in Dorchester a go in the morning.
