For the last thrity five years the men of the Marshall family have ventured out to hunt together, as a family, on Thanksgiving morning. Specifically we have hunted at the same place.....Cattail Creek....all of those years. This Thanksgiving morning, on a perfect slick cam, was no different as me and my two sons headed out.
Yea some years have been better than others...Some Thanksgivings yeilded many geese...more than a few resulted in visits from Johnny Law...but all provided many memories that will hopefully last a lifetime...
No this post isn't about how many we killed, or about the incredible shots we made...We didn't kill anything...A few shots were missed, one gun broke, many pictures were taken.
Over the course of a hunting season the times are few where we all can hunt together. Work..Schedules..Ball..
Today was perfect....we didn't kill a thing..
