    Duck report

Hunted in Stuttgart last few days. Hunted over flooded rice fields. Monday we picked up 9- mallards, wigeon, gadwall, and a couple of spoonbills. Tuesday we picked up 24-mallards,gadwall, and wigeon. We limited out by 11:30. Wednesday, the duck season was out due to a split season, so we hunted snow geese . Picked up seven and called it an early morning as most were driving back to North Cackalacky. Had a fun trip. Sorry no pics. Didn't remember to bring a camera. When the other fellas e-mail me some I will try to post. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

Glenn, I love to bird hunt. Mostly ducks and doves. Just don't get to do it as much as I would like. Fishing schedule works out a little better than hunting schedule. Not easy to travel to duck destinations with work and family schedules. When I do get to go, I try to maximize the opportunity to get a few shots at some feathered critters. No guarentees when hunting or fishing,as you well know. Got a trip lined up with Karl in January. We might be up in the Currituck area. I'll let you know the dates and if you're in the area maybe we can grab a bite and drink a corona.
