How about some dove reports.

We finally got off the island and made it to our traditional Labor Day hunt (did not make it off to hunt opening day, was not sure they would let me back on the island)

It was good, it always is at this hunt as the farmer does an excellent job creating dove habitat (sunflowers)

I did not get a chance to shoot my warm up of sporting clays, so i shot ALOT to kill my 15.

the first 10 came quick, then the birds slowed down, finnally got em all.

Maybelle did good for her first day of the year, was a little wrung up, and got to fetch some other doves too.

Found several in the cotton and woods that I would have likely not gotten, man it is nice to have a good dog, and wait for her to bring back the bird to you.

We will get her good and tuned up for duck season.
