Doe permit came today.

Every year here in Taxachusetts we have to apply for an anterless deer permit in the zone we want to hunt. it's good for one anterless deer in one of the three seasons-bow, shotgun, or musket. We also have to buy a stamp for bow/musket. We can take two bucks though. How's it work for youse guys?

4 doe/anterless tags come with the license and you can buy unlimited more at $10.00 per tag. We also have piles of crop damage tags to use on the farms we hunt.

2 buck tags are $15.00 and that's it for the year.

Tags are good for all seasons.

6 deer per season in my part of VA. 3 have to be does and the other 3 can be either sex. Additional doe tags can be bought. Bows, crossbows, and muzzloaders all require an additional $18 license

Edit: we also get population control permits from the county to hunt from September 1st - March 31st. Kill anything and everything.

We start out with 6 tags in eastern NC but can get unlimited slick tags if you want them.
Season is coming up quick - time to switch back over to practicing with broadheads instead of the field points.

We are allowed 10 does and 2 bucks per season in MD.
That is 10 and 2 for Bow plus 10 and 2 for Black Powder plus 10 and 2 for Firearms. For a total of 36/year

And that doesn't count the possable 6 sikas .
