Do you think mature bucks avoid game cameras?

I have pics of 15 or so 1 and 2 years olds but thats it and I just wondered what you all think?

I don't own a camera myself, but know some guy's that use them to beat the band. I've seen some nice buck's, but can't say that I've ever seen a "truly special" one's with any regularity on the wildlife camera's. Don't get me wrong I don't want to give the old goat's more credit than is due, but the truly big ones get that way because they are smart. JMO, Frank

and I just find it extremely hard to believe all I have is babies. I have killed some quality bucks on this place but the camera thing is almost a curse...I have 1500 pics of babies on there and just am not motivated to sit out there. Thanks for the input. I know they are not smart but damn...

Most all of the big bucks we kill in NC have wet feet!!! Move your cameras to trails in the armpit of your property they are there in the thickest nastiest stuff. I use a boat to go into some of my stands because you cant get to them any other way....... Mark

where you dropped your arrow on that does headIt had 47 pics on that trail and I moved it this afternoon. There were 4 does and a six point in that plot when I drove up at 4:30.

I don't think so, look at all the trail cam pics they get in the midwest where hunting practices allow deer to become of age. The trouble with most of NC is that the biologists say we kill about 80% of the bucks before the age of 3. There just ain't many of them big bucks out there.

and the guys around me are on the same program comprising about 1000 acres of land. I have been at it for 7 years now and the guys around me for 5 or so. The buck doe ratio is about 2 to 1. I have pics of about 50 or 60 deer. I killed a low 130 inch 11 point out there 5 years ago. It was 3 and 1/2 years old. I'm stumped

Steve is she wants the 6 inch just to ride on the 33 inch I won't hold it against her
