Not at all the same...
Quote:
Do you really consider a flea bitten mutt with mange who has never recieved a decent meal or proper vet care the same as our labs and bird dogs...They are running my damn deer for gods sake, the owners are the ones at fault, but I'm not shooting their ass because I have a respect human life and there are laws against it. Eventually I may kill enough of them to actually open their eyes...Either way, I do not consider them mans best friend or their owners actual human beings. Mike

Thank you Capt. for the clarification.
However, you may wish to add beagles to your non mangy dogs, I doubt that your neighbor shequisha owns too many. Last edited by krabill; 06-16-2008 at 08:55 PM. |

Deer Hunt with Beagles
Beaglewoman here. Glad I like it rough. Seems as if I hit a yankee nerve. Just figured that i would also let you know that we also rifle hunt. between beagleman and myself we usually average about 35-40 deer off our family farm. All of them eat beans and peanuts. We kill them all. Moms, dads and the seeds. They all eat. Farmer asks to have them wiped out. One dog club I know that i shot at 28 different bucks, killing only 13. All were nice, no knot heads there. Add my sons deer and I would safely say that we kill about 75 deer a year total. You see , I enjoy the best of both worlds. Still hunting and dog hunting. I get invited to some of the most beatuiful, well preserved parts of our state. It really is grand to hear my dogs running through a stand of trees never cut, Trees so large the vines on them have hollows. I get to go many places that many people will never in their life have the chance to see. Why, because of my fine hounds. lol. Deer in these places would never be seen muchless killed if not for the hounds in persuit. I know my passtime is not suited for all you yankeees. It is just something that I enjoy doing every chance I get.
Just to let you know there is a lot better poision than antifreeze. Guess you don't know about it so I am not gonna tell you. Only takes one or two drops. careful though, you will kill yourself if you are lucky. what eats the bait dies, what eats what ate it dies, and so on. Even the buzzards die. Thats the good shit. lol.... Shoot the right persons dog and you will just have to learn how to hunt ashes. I guess when there is a will there is a way. probably would take a lot of corn. Now I also wanted to add that I fished with Beagleman today and we caught 59 bream/shellcrackers, and 4 catfish. Would have had the limit if we hadn't run out of bait. I will take more tommorow. <a href="http://s304.photobucket.com/albums/nn172/scbeagleman/?action=view¤t=beaglecatfish.jpg" target="_blank"><img |

Beagleman, Do you eat those big cats? I thought they were fishy or oily. Here's my Sun. catch and release. I keep a few small ones to eat.

fishing with beagleman
Some we eat, some we let others eat. more depends on the temp of the water caught in. Fillet and trim the red out. It is ok for freshwater fish. They changed the law on the lake. Keep only one big fish, release the others. This lake only, law does not affect other areas. sometimes we run out of coolerspace and have to ice them down in the bottom of the boat. lol. someone will eat them.

I LOVE STUFF LIKE THIS....IT IS DARN BETTER THAN THE POISONING LESSON FROM BEAGLE WOMAN......TO WHICH I SAY AGAIN: "TO ALL DOG DEER HUNTERS, KEEP YOUR DOGS ON YOUR OWN PROPERTY AND THIS DISCUSSION WILL BECOME A VAPOR TRAIL."
