Man..... NAUTIDUCK, you scoudrel, you block me at every angle don't you. So how about that beer, I ve got a few of those yankee dollars left over to buy you a couple. Yeah the real estate markets tough down here, but thats ok, it was reeeeaaal good the last 5 years. And the last time I checked they were estimating about 70 million baby boomers coming into the market over the next 7 or 8 years. So the market will come back around. Till then we'll continue to hunt and fish all we can. I'm serious about the beer, dont you come to the beach from time to time?

Unfortunately I havent made it there this year yet. To many things going on I havent been fishing since sept. With the recent sale of my boat and the fact that I havent bought a new one yet Idont know if Ill get there this summer or not. I do appreciate the offer and I may just take you up on it. From your PM your posts didnt piss me off and I do realize in the past people depended on game for survival and how you got it didnt matter just that you did. Things have changed since then and traditions while important need to be looked at for value. To me sporting traditions shouldnt just celebrate the past they need to teach for the future. Like I said before and others posted when your shooting running deer too many are shot at and wounded and not all are accounted for, I have watched in disgust while on hunter completely unloaded his shotgun into a running herd I saw at least three take hits, he found one and quit looking because the others were still running pretty well. I honestly thought it was an isolated incident but after asking around it was more the norm and while some others werent that bad no one was shocked because of the supposed numbers of deer.People already have the advantage using bow and guns do you really need to have dogs drive the deer right to you. My biggest beef is that if your going to shoot something make sure you kill it find it and use it. . If there was a way to catch and release deer Id be all for it. Im all for harvesting game and fish but there is no need for waste. As you can guess Im not a real big fan of kill tournaments purely for sport if the harvested fish are being wasted. I truly believe wild game and fish are one of our most valuble resources and should be managed properley so the the stocks can grow and be there for everybody for both sport and as a food source. The reason I came back with the facts and numbers I did is because when people throw out info based on opinion and not facts you get decisions based on emotion and opinion like the proposed closure of flounder even though the biomass and catch rates are better than ever or the reopening of swordfish to longlining another age old tradtion to commercial fisherman and I would say thats one tradition that needs work.

Talking 53 days...My beagles are restless..

Thanks Ace for the support. I needed that. Nauuti you are just a gross yankee. You cant help it. Yes I to am glad not to have to depend on you to feed the family.
You know to think of it, almost ninety percent of my beagle pups go to live in NC. Most of what sell go strait to live north of the border. I love those Yankee dollars! I got my female, Dixie , bred now and the next ten people on the waiting list all live in....a Northern state. I see the Irony in this. Darn Yanks hate my beagles, yet they LOVE my beagles. The beagles are getting restless..I got two young pups to start this year, lucky and lucy. They got a great voice. Sounds like something got them when they open up. I can't wait to be Lazy and Slobbish. I got a new Browning PUMP maybe I will have better success with this one. The misses I mentioned were all complete miss, not crippling shots. Killed my share of the trees. Paid a great share of the Miss Fees collected. Thas money goes to buy more CORN. Love to turn out the screamin Deamons out on a pile corn. They will strike near I am guranteed..I am really feeling Lazy now! Maybe I will go clean the Browning.
Beagleman and I are going to kill some white perch in the morning. .. Gonna try the bream and shellcrackers. We been catching nice ones. got the limit week and 55 the time before. Catch a few catfish also. They are fun on my fly rod. think we will take our son so we can fill three limits. Got to keep in the slobbish and lazy attitude. Pile 'em up. It is more like Catching than fishing. Sounds lazy to me...I love it...

Nauti is that really the best ya can do? I have been called alot worse by better people. I beleive NC is infested with yankees. Just like SC. I beleive that I read in one of your post that you have one parent that was from the north.. if I was able to read that correctly, then you would be half yankee. Which make you still a gol dang yankee. Truth hurts, I know. I don't mean to be so nasty but you did start in on me and my dogs first... My original start to theis thread began by asking if anyone here enjoyed the sport of hunting deer with dogs. Simple enough I thought. Didn't wanna make no enemys, just lookingt for new friends. My husband has been dog hunting for 39 years. Killed his first deer dog hunting. I have been dog hunting for 12 years. I learned what I know about hunting from hunting, not the internet. Most of my kills are while still hunting. I enjoy both. It is easier to kill one while he is standing still than when he is running. Everyone hunts with dogs are not outlaws. Dog hunting is legal where I hunt and as long as it is I will continue to hunt my dogs every day I get the chance. Eight dollars a bag for corn and seventeen dollars a bag for dog food this is not an inexpensive way to hunt. Not only do I have deer dogs, I have coon dogs, rabbit dogs, a retreiver, a rat terrier, and bulldogs. I enjoy many sports involving dogs, deer hunting is just one. If you don't enjoy hunting deer with dogs why did you even take the time to insult an ignorant, slobish, lazy twit such as myself?
