Crossbows???
Well here it is early summer and already getting side tracked... They have opened up crossbows for hunting this year where I'm at.
I'm getting older and as I do getting that bow of mine over the hump on the draw has gotten harder and cost me a shot or two cause I can't do it as smoothly as when I was younger. Thinking crossbow. Now I had a cheap piece of shit throwing 15 inch bolts . 150 pounds or not they fell away real quick and it would have sucked past twenty yards if I had ever called on it to do so. I Upped to a low end barnett and it wasn't much better. So heres the question. I'm looking to go 20" shafts, compound it up, would like to have comfortable kill to 40 yards... I'm a simple kind of guy so it doesn't have to be fancy but I need a bow that can run a pass through at 30 and a to the fletching at 40 without spending a mint. Mini has college soon so I gotta stay deep cheap but still get enough bow to get er done. Who has suggestions? |

Deep I have a barnett revoultion that I killed 4 deer with last year I shot on a regular basis up to 60yds in my back yard I love it, one of the limbs cracked last year and I called Barnett they said send her back and I did two weeks later brand new bow. Rage head shoots very well in my bow, for the money I think Barnett bows rock.
