Aw screw it... I'm gonna stick with the blow gun I use on rats.... Just gonna up it a little with some curare...

Now all I gotta do is find some one in the Amazon basin to find me some curare... Oh Jerrrrrr!

I got a pile of bows sitting here. I'm an off hand shooter (no good with sights) but shoulder and elbow are tender after a half century of abuse and fishing. On the round cam ones getting over the "hump" is easier but I can't stay on draw long. The big cam ones I can hold but kinda grunt getting over that hump. Not real smooth. Couple that with me hunting from the ground and its not so good.

As I get older heights bug me more and more. Looking up or down I get some vertigo... So ground is a better place for me. I can become part of the furniture no problem but on that draw I'm getting sloppy. I have in the past tried to practice but over did it and really tore my shoulder and elbow up.

Thats why the crossbow interest. That sidewinder is getting there...
