Do any of you guys use them and what are your experiences and tips??

I'm curious to hear responses too..
Are there any brands I need to stay away from? Looking at buying a used one. I know Horton's and Barnett makes them but know nothing else except I need one.
They made it legal here in VA a couple of years ago. I'll only use them in a ground blind or a stand where shots would be further and out of my comfort zone for a regular bow. There's not a whole to them. Get it sighted in properly and it's deadly.
I agree that the range is about the asme a a regular bow. They are much louder. For most probably more accurate. It's about the same but you don't have to draw and you will have amuch bigger twang. They are pricey some of the high end one are pushing $2000. They have been legal in Ohio for years it's a mxed bag between them and regular bow hunters. Personally I don't have a problem with them. Just don't start telling my you can shoot 100 yards.
Tenpoint Brand Is Great

$$$$
They are expensive... but also have less espensive models...
You should be able to set your self up with a Tenpoint for around $600.00+ with some extra bolts and b heads. These are pretty much 40 yard max weapons and just like any orther weapon you need to practise. Also unlike your bow a second shot isn't that easy.
