    Couple ducks

Heres a couple pics from the day before the layout boat went missing.

There wasnt many ducks on the sounds but enough to work with. Had a couple flocks of 30+ come in. Killed our limit of scoters fairly quick.

Had my first whatever you want to call it, i shot 3 shells and killed 2 drake blacks and two drake surfs. Pretty crazy considering i cant hit a damn wood duck lighting in the deeks half the time.

anyway season comes back in saturday..hope to give the blacks hell.

    Good day for sure Brandon.

I haven't shot a black scoter(yella beaker) all year. They're my favorite for sure.

Beautiful birds. How do you cook them and how to they taste? I've never been waterfowl hunting. It sounds like a blast, literally. Hell, I've never even had goose or duck, much less those yellow bill'd feathered friends.!!

Most of us like our Scoters Tar Tar (raw). Um, um
A close second, is the old sea-side favorite of Scoter stuffed with Menhaden.
