Coon Hunt

I decided to go the other night out of boredom. Since my old dog died I have not been too much. The two I hunted the other night are rusty. We did get to see one coon out of the three trees I went to. First two they were a little tree happy I'm thinking and treed where the coon had tagged.

We did have a good time though getting back out into the woods.

beaglewoman, been a long time since I coon hunted. A friend of mine had a Blue Tic that was tough on the coons. It was nice running though the hills at night...

y'all don't kill the beasts? I hear that they are hell on the turkey eggs.

Depends where I am hunting as to whether or not I kill them.

I would imagine they would wipe out a turkey nest in short order.
