HEY, THEY LOOK GREAT, HOW LONG DID YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE MOUNTS...
I don't know much about ducks, as you know. But I'd put them on my wall! Very nice!!! By the way, taxidermist is a bad word around here right now. I brought the head of that 450lb bear I shot off of me 2 years ago, still haven't seen it. Oh yes, I paid up front deposit. Another bear I took that year, has been in my office for over a year now. I'm starting to think the guy sold my mount, I really hope not. But I have found out that a neighbor of mine carried the same guy a bear for a "whole" mount, only to never be seen again. I am hesitant to say who he is, but if I find out for sure, the cat will be set out of the bag!!!! Frank
It would seem to me that two years is more than enough wait for any mount. Have you considered talking to the taxidermist about canceling the project and getting your head and deposit back? A deposit provides good faith that the mount will be paid for assuming the other party holds up his end of the deal by completing the project in a reasonable amount of time-- it is not a "reservation" charge.
Frank - that taxidermist would look good on your wall where the bear was supposed to be
