I HAVE A BUDDY THAT HUNTS AT A BIG RANCH IN MISSOURI LIKE THIS. THE OWNER WILL SEND HIM THREE OR FOUR PICS OF MONSTER BUCKS EVERY YEAR THAT ALL HAVE A PRICE UNDER THE PIC. THE PRICE INCLUDES A COUPLE OF NIGHTS IN THERE CABIN AND A GUIDE TO TAKE YOU OUT UNTIL YOU BAG THE BUCK THAT YOU PAY FOR. HE NOW HAS THREE HUGE BUCKS ON HIS WALL FROM THE LAST THREE YEARS. THE FIRST TWO YEARS HE PAYED $3500, AND THIS YEAR THE RANCH MAN SENT HIM ONE PIC AND PRICE FOR $2500 THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A GOOD DEAL SINCE HE WAS A THREE YEAR RETURNING CUSTOMER. HE BRAGS ON THESE DEER TO EVERONE AND YES THEY ARE TRULEY FINE BUCKS, BUT IS THAT REALLY SPORTY TO DO?

    anybody got a can-opener?

Doesn't get more canned than this...

Hard to tell but those are all good bucks at the feeder. As soon as the timed feeder would start slinging corn, deer would show up almost immediately. Saw way more bucks than does. More 8's and 9pts that week in Texas than you could believe.

If you have the cash, You can shoot anything you want.
    Catch anything you want.
Are you skilled, Are you a hunter, A fisherman, I think not.
I had a guy tell me one time his brother caught a BIG Marlin.
Took him 12 charters to do it. Did he catch it, I THINK NOT.
    did he have money, YEP.
If it works for ya, Go, Canned hunt, Whatever,
BUT, There is so much more satisfaction in catching a fish
or Killing an animal that you found for yourself ( Even if it aint a "TROPHY". To me, Anything less than doing it yourself is WELL, Nothing to brag about. Still can be fun, I've done it,
May again some day. But no braggin rights allowed.
Sorry all you did was reel or shoot.
    Again, Just my .02

On a 2001 duck hunting trip to S Texas, we had a guest pass to Two Bayou Hunting Preserve to thank my cousin for his hard work on blinds that the mexicans wouldn't do, including being dumpep upside down in a fenced blind into the alligater/mosquito invested swap waters. On this morning we were the joke as the guides gathered their hunting parties, studied the winds and drew straws for blind choice. We sat back and picked from the left overs. The hunting was tough but our unguided party of four left with the 22 ducks killed that morning. We usually hunt public land and study cover, water, vegetation, wind and weather to make the best of what mother nature provides. I guess on this morning we got lucky, we did make adjustments that were needed but we knew what needed to change to get the birds. Hated that the others paid $$ to see a group walk in with no help, just a chuckle from the guides and leave with the only birds of the day.
