    Caesar Guerini Tempio

I'm going to buy myself an Xmas present. Field model,12 gauge,28" or 30" barrel (not sure Yet). I've got it narrowed down to a Beretta SV10 Perennia or C. Guerini Tempio. I personally have not handled the Guerini yet, but will, of course before a decision is made. I'm told the Guerini's fit and feel similar to most Italian I/O's.
The new Beretta Perennia sure swings nice and the price is about the same for the two. Does anyone have any experience with the Guerini 12 gauge field models?

Not that one but did swing the baretta... That said my cousin has a Weatherby that is well worth considering. That gun feels at least to me like its part of me. Smoother than the baretta...

You are way too big of a redneck to own either one of those guns.

Have you thought about Browning, CZ, or Ruger?

I have a special steel Citori that is dipped w/ mossy oak shadow grass. It's a 3.5" that kicks kinda hard, but swings great.

I had a Citori years ago and they just don't fit me well--- nice guns, just not the feel I like. I had a first generation Beretta 686 (plain Jane) and loved it--- but traded it for my 390 that I'll never give up for ducking.
I'm now looking for a fu fu scattergun to "admire" and plink some clays with as well as have something to pass on---- so a nice set of oiled wood is important.
If I go with the Guerini, the U.S. Importer is right up your way, so you ought to drag your sorry ass over there with me to pick out an upgraded stock.

Come on up and bring that 390 with you and I'll find something for you to shoot with it.

Those fancy guns are beautiful works of art, but I'd have dings on the stock and rust on the finish in no time.

You've got to be kidding me. I've watched you throw your gun down in the floor of the boat, use it for a push pole, probably used it to tie the boat up in the marsh.....and now your looking for a fufu gun with all kinds of engraving on it? What's next...dogs sleeping with cats?

MAYBE THE STOCK CAN BE FORMED AS A CUSTOMIZED PADDLE WITH CHEEK PLATE...

Marty, what would Swancaller have to say about this? I'm hoping he will weigh in. Hell, we have Glenn using words I can't even pronounce.

I just knew you clowns would give me shit--- let's see who all's given constructive help or comments thus far:

We have the GQ Pollack that would pay 5 c-notes for a hooker as long as she's is over 45 and has at least three kids and cesarian scars:

Then there's my OLDER bro that would spend over a grand on a stick and string set up or a month's salary on a German spotting scope even though his eyes are closer in quality to a bat than an Eagle any more:

And then---- Then--- we hear from my Saxis Island redneck buddy that will drink boilermakers with $50 a bottle of whiskey chased with PBR beer.

Oh I ain't worried about Swancaller --- the man that pays $20 PER individual decoy and throws them in a heap in his boat and then patches em w/ 5200.

No siree, I ain't worried about you coal black pots---
this kettle just found exactly what I'm looking for at a dealer in Idaho.
I just hope the oil stain is resistant to tobacco juice--- and is it ok to wear my waders to the skeet range?--- I swing better with what I'm used to.
