over Biff, Biff maybe just a touch too masculine. Who would have thought that such a thread would collect this much attention? Well who was the Author (there's another good "Princely" name) of the post? Glenn you just make it too easy
. Atleast it has temporarily saved some other "beleagured" member's some emotional abuse. Glenn I'm goin hog huntin' next week, but I'll be using a S&W 44 Mag. No Fu Fu here! Frank
Oh this is gettin good---- now, they're attacking my manhood with quests of ferrel pigs---- Pigs??????--- I recon we'll be talking about the finer points of Grindle fishing next.
I ain't killed a pig since I was 9 or 10 years old (fall hog butchering time)-- what's next, the challenge of a cow hunt with a .458, or a chicken massicure with a hatchet?![]()
Doesn't sound so bad if they "mad" cow's or "ferrel" chicken's! It's all in how you present it. Frank
Glenn, don't take any shit, I shoot a double.
I shoot a third less and kill just as many ducks.
Some of us only need two shots!

You are absolutely correct. I will continue to shoot my auto duck hunting, and have keep a mental score card for years. By far, most of my birds are killed on the first shot. Not that I'm a good shoot, by any stretch, it just that if I miss on the first the probability of getting him on the second goes down, and goes down again on the third. Although all too rare for me, the third shot helps the most in getting a double.
When I was in high School, I used a POS Russian O/U with double triggers for Woodie shooting in the swamps--- don't know why but that gun was the ticket for me in the swamps---- this was back in the days of lead shot and fixed chokes. That ole commie double out shot my 1100 3 to 1.
Anyway, I have no intention of ducking with this particular O/U. Who knows though, I may get back into shooting a double and then pick up a cheap unit with a synthetic stock.
