i reccomend using a scent-lok suit and taking a shower with scent killers before going in the woods,and hunting over bait this early isn't that good there are way too many acorns right now and the bucks are just starting to chase the does in the pre rut, i think the best way would be to put a stand about 75-100 yds off the bait down a trail where the deer are coming from
