Too bad this is just happening the day before the season is over. I love seeing the swamps frozen. Got into a few woodrows this morning with my brother SHUNT before work. Was over very quickly.![]()

sounds better than what i have been doing since 7:15....entering data.
unless special something pops up, the ducks are safe from me until october. cant say the same for the fishies tomorrow, though. hunter is going with his old man up toward e-town and he has turned loose about a dozen of his buddies on the guyton pond for a free for all tomorrow AM. talk about a cluster. i think i will sleep in then go catch a trout.
Yikes! I hope everyone shows up at the Guyton with plenty of sleep and knows that they are not supervised or somone is going to get shot by mistake.![]()
Good luck fishing tommorow. If we get into 'em in the morning I will give you a ring if the strap justifies the phone call.

i say a dozen, but that number will most likely be whittled down to 4 or 5 once the alarm clocks start going off at 430 and the hangovers rear their ugly heads.
regardless, im too old for that shit.
i just got a wild hair....i might go try and walk in the backside of the dike this evening on the off chance i get an early shot at a big duck coming to the roost before shooting time expires. its a gamble but has paid off in years past.
Ended the season here just a little better than slow4 guns 12 ducks and 1 don king. Woodies and teal were the bag.
Time for turkeys and fish now.
