I have a friend who SWEARS he saw one of these outside his house in Flint Hill, VA, about 75 miles WEST of DC.

This one was apparently hit by a car outside of PARKERSBURG, WV.

This is one big cat!!!

Looking at the pile of ELK antlers in the background I would bet the this was not in West Virginia.

I have a neighbor that swears there is a cougar living behind our house in the marsh. I keep telling him that the only cougars in delaware stalk the bars in Dewey Beach.

YIKES thats a whole lotta feline!

I saw one once here in Florida on the way to one of my beach fishing spots. It was 5am and I rounded a corner on the island I fish (Talbot Island state park). About 200 feet infront of me, one of those ran across the road. I wasnt sure what it was until I saw the tail, it was atleast 4 feet long. It made for an interesting walk to the fishing spot (which is a 10 minute walk through the woods).

In Maine I have seen tracks, but never spotted one!

Only one I've ever seen in the wild was in Bladen County, NC near lake Waccamaw. I was 15ft off the ground, strapped to an old Baker hand climbing (deathtrap) tree stand - armed only with a bow because it is illegal to carry a side arm during bow season in NC. I saw movement and as the moring fog swirled around the cypress trees, the big cat stepped out of the swamp and slinked down the powerline cut I was hunting. I never did get the stain outta my shorts. What a memory, though.

Aw a cute little meow meow...

I had one stalking me on one of my last hunts of the season here. Wasn't as big as that one though... My bung was already slammed shut when I saw its tracks right in the same tracks I had laid down minutes earlier. If I saw tracks as big as this kitty has my bung may have never worked again...
