    Best Goose Hunt of my Life

    New Years Day I got a chance to hunt with a buddy who has a great spot and all the stuff and I got to take one of my favorite partners she killed the first goose she ever got a shot at 3/4 ounce of number 2's at 25 yards out of her 20 Ga. 1100 improved cylinder right in the face just like I coached her to do
    She got humbled by a 3 shot miss at another shortly after the picture tells the rest of this great hunting story

    I am in the market for a better gun for her, she says she can handle one of mine but I think they are a bit too much for her, I am thinking a 3" 20 gage with choke tubes would work, damn if I knew how much the price of Semi's went up over the last couple years while I wasn't in the market. To make matters better next season I have 3 junior hunters

    How old is a good age to start them hunting?

    I've had my son tagging along with me in the duckblind since he was 4.. I usually don't take him on bitter cold days,and I let him take his Nintendo DS,he'll sit there as long as I do. BTW Congrats Cowboy.
