Go with Beretta or I just got the new Winchester SX3 and love it. Theres a reason the Benellis issued to the military are gas and not inertia!

10,000+ rounds without a jam! Why would i switch to a gas operated gun? the only other gun i even remotely thought about was a sbe2,one of my buddies who does alot of waterfowl guiding has had his extrema2 back to the factory twice for misfiring so i didn't even consider that.
Well, Beretta owns benelli so I would'nt insult. I'd go xtrema2 over sbe2, personal preference, hated the raised rib on the sbe2. Again, take a look at the winchester if your in the market for a gun.
First of all, Beretta vs Benelli is like debating over Adriana Lima vs Heidi Klum, I would take either one into the woods any day.
Waterman, your sbe1 looks badass, I saw the pics in your other thread. Just wondering, you say it cycles faster than ever. Is that faster than it used to be considering how many rounds the gun had shot, or is it even faster than when it was new? I have a sbe1 and I have absolutely no complaints with the gun. It has seen at least 6 or 7 thousand rounds, probably more, and it is still super fast, but like with anything else, why not go faster if you can.
I've had the gun for awhile and its hard to remember but it shoots incredibly fast, just for fun i threw the magazine extension tube on and shot as fast as i could pull the trigger and it was rediculous! after getting all this work done all my friends that have sbe1s and sbe2s are getting the same work done! there is no comparison!
Not sure what your talkin about but I love mine and people that have had them longer than me love them too and no problems.
sbe1 with a plug will hold two in the magazine one in the carrige and one in the barrel. Legal? dunno.... but if a warden put two in the mag and couldn't fit the third don't know that he'd take it any further. Never needed a fourth. never even did this hunting but I have a friend that would have nothing but an sbe1 so he can hold four and better his chances to double up when a flock comes in. they changed that with the sbe2. the carrige will no longer hold one. I had an sbe 1 and traded for an sbe2 last season. love the gun.... can't say i love it better than the sbe1. had a browning gold before and in the extreme cold it would jam regularly. tried different types of gun oil kept jamming on really cold mornings. even tried cleaning it out with a high pressure air hose and lightly coating with -45 degree automatic transmission fluid. my advice... if you have an sbe1 keep it. if you want an sbe2 for looks great but it won't shoot any better and for that matter i'm sure the m1 would be just as good. after all do you really shoot 3.5's? i don't.
