Bear Hunt 2009,

I would say our sucess come's from the "class" of hunter's that make up our group. We've hunted together for year's. I myself like the up-close aspect, that's the reason I do it I guess. Bear are just the most impressive animal I know of, I count it a real priviledge every time I get close to them. We run alot of bear but really take few in comparison. This year all have been boar's with the exception of one sow, that a landowner wanted to take. It's not for everybody, I'm just thankful I'm not "everybody". Frank

The rain fell till daylight, any scent from last night's travel's (if they moved at all) was washed away. Everything was laying tight, didn't even get a jump. I did a lot of walking though, was good just to be in the wood's. I'll post up some pic's as soon as I can figure out how to get em' out of my camera. Frank
