While cleaning out an old barn today I found an M1918 BAR, and a whole bunch of goose decoys signed by Lem Ward. Anyone know the value of these?

Man, the decoy's depend on a lot. Best to have an expert look at them to give you an accurate value. They could be worth anywhere from a few hundred $ to several thousand $ or more. I'll give you a few hundred sight unseen.

I'd say these are not in the best shape. They were definetly used for hunting a few seasons and some even have lead embeded in them. They have some paint chipped off of them, and a few have the rudders busted off of them. They do look good enough that you probably could take them out and hunt them tomorrow though. I'll take a couple of photos of the better looking ones and post them up tomorrow.

Damn the price doubled in 2 hours.

Who cares about the decoys how much for the BAR? Is it in working order?

Fiore3 the BAR is not in good condition. It is jammed up and pretty rusty. I gave it to a friend who collects guns and he is gonna try and clean it up. Here are some of the decoys:










They are all in about this general condition. Some better some worse.
