I've never bow hunted, but I'd have to say that you are darn close to being correct. I know some guy's that are dedicated bow hunter's there in SC. It better be (from what I've seen) in the spine. I've helped blood trail hogs after they have been arrowed, they don't bleed much! There is one hog we've named "super hog", he is a really big black boar. I know for a fact he has 4 broadheads deep in him. After a few days he comes back and the camera takes his picture again. I handgun hunt and shot placement is absolute key. Not many can stand a shot to the "hard drive". Frank
