Am I jinxed or is it that all these fancy "new tech" auto loader shotguns just ain't meant to "auto load"?
Now I have a Benelli issue.
you may recall the issue I was having with 2 Beretta 391's:
Come on Beretta I just want them to shoot
I went out and bought a new Benelli M2 a couple weeks ago and it has failed to cycle twice already--- to make things worse, it actually hangs up inside the house while nice and warm.
The Benelli issue is similar to that for the Berettas. That is, the fired shell ejects and as a new shell is fed and the bolt moves forward, the carrier underneath hangs up on the bolt preventing the bolt from closing all the way. The return spring in the stock is not strong enough to overcome the resistance of the carrier meeting the bolt.
This is unacceptable--- $1300 for an auto loader and it is not too much to ask for it to autoload--- period.--- yea, it was cleaned from the factory, and I don't plan on hearing anything about shell type or needing to be broke in. All shells fired thus far are 3" and it cycled perfect for the first box or so of shells.
Hunting season is about over and I will definatley be in touch with Benelli about a warranty claim.
I am frustrated to say the least-- indeed, son # 1's Beretta is still acting up as well.
