The NC WRC(they make hunting laws) are proposing to reduce the buck limit to two! Go to their website and disagree in their survey and voice your opinion.
They are counting on no one knowing about public meetings in far off towns . We only have untill the end of Jan. to voice our opinions ... just thought everyone should know!!

I just copied and pasted it from another site. I don't even hunt, I just thought I would spread the word. It really makes no difference to me.

I kinda think it is a good idea as well. I have seen it done on some private land here and it really helps the mature buck population.

i honestly think its a good idea. Some of these damn people around here will shoot anything with four legs..

I have seen and read alot about private clubs and some areas of the state doing this and it really has made an improvement in the size of some of the bucks. Theres actually an article in NC sportsman this month about this issue.

Yeah. "If it's brown, it's down" ain't very cool to me. Give the little bucks a chance to mature. If you just want to shoot go to the range. If you just want to kill go to Iraq.

I'd rather see it go to one buck only....if people could show restraint we might have some better bucks...I gave up deer hunting in this state for this reason..let them walk so they can grow!
