OK here is the issue. About 3-4 weeks ago I took my bow into a local pro shop renowed for his ability to perfectly tune a bow to have a drop away put on. while ther he also did a couple modifications to the bow including tuning it, adding a larger peep, kisser button, felt on areas of the bow that the arrow may hit while in the field among a couple of other small things. Keep in mind that I bought the pow originally from bass pro and its a lower end PSE (Nova) without all the bells and whistles.
Len was able to correct the problems created by the folks at bass pro when they set up the bow originally but he stated that he could not tune the bow with my arrows and had to use the correct arrows. I have Size 6075-28" RedHead® Carbon Fury™ Arrows that I bought with the bow. The draw weight of the bow is currently set to 62 #s According to len these are too heavy for the draw weight not to mention that about half of the arrows are out of straightness.
He did say that they would work but I would notice a difference with the correct arrows.
So I brought the bow home and have been shooting it daily out to 30 yards. I was able to get it sighted and shoot better than when I took it in, but here comes the issues. All the sighting in came from shooting field points (100 grains) when I switched over to testing the muzzy 3 blade 100 grain BH points the further out I shoot the further the grouping is. And its not just a drop in grouping its an erattic issue. At 30 yards I will get one broadhead shooting 3" high left and the next shooing 2" low right. Note that it has nothing to do with the lighted knocks as I have the issue with regular knocks as well and shooting the field points with the lighted knocks showed no difference. so what i am thinking is that the fact that the arrows I have other than being a lower quality are over spined and the additional weight is overcoming the less aerodynamic blades.
Does all this sound right and if so what arrows do you pros use
