Don't know about Cowboy, but my 82A1 retails for $9,000 as shown in the pic. But bare out of the box is around $7,800.

If memory serves me right I think the gun as you saw it was 2500.00 single shot, bullets where around 4.50 each I heard he mounted a scope and added another 1500.00 to the total package.It was more fun to video and shoot it than it would be to buy it

Dave Sikorski, sorry, but thats incorrect. To kill, the round must actually hit. I was told the same thing about an M-16 when I was a kid. Was told that M-16 barrels werent rifled so the round tumbled, and the shock wave could kill you even if you miss.
Was told that Black Talons could hit you in the shin and twist bone so fast the bone couldnt break.

It seems every gun shop has idiots who have to create stories. A .50 is just a 500 grain bullet (or bigger) that has devestating energy even at 2000 yards due to high FPS.

From what I felt and saw I don't want that bullet within 18 feet of me once launched can only imagine it hitting something with 18" of your head your damn sure gonna know it wasn't a honey bee flying by

I've seen a driver side window shattered from the blast when a Barrett like mine was fired too close to it.

BTW, they are expensive. I got mine cheap from a retired marine friend of mine. It was too much for him to shoot anymore.
