They are absolutely deadly. First time shooting my dad's, I shot a 5" grouping at 100 yards. Not to mention they are loads of fun to shoot.

Buddy of mine like it so much he bought 2. When I asked why he replied, "cause I can." More power to him I say

Be carefull about using it for home defense. A .223 round will go right through walls and floors like a knife through butter. If you did have to use a AR-15 or a M-4(colapable stock and mush shorter version of an AR-15) I would want to know were everyone else in the house was before I pulled the trigger. God forbid an erant shot miss its mark. They are a great range rifle and deadly accuarte. For home defense nothing beats a shot gun or a pistol.

    Thumbs up ar-15

I had the pleasure to meet and become friends with some of the best gun smiths in the country while shooting the USPA events for several years in between fishing. Take a look at this link and call Jody or John and talk to them about there variant of the AR-15. They produce very nice weapons.

Good luck and enjoy, remember never point at something you don't want to destroy.
