Last year I got back down here too late to even give it a try. I did fold up a bambi up north for the meat grinder but the swamp didn't see me.

This year: Bow was too wet to get anything done... Never saw so much as a track.

Black powder finished up today without me so much as shouldering it too. Still a bit too wet and way way too crowded to really stand a chance unless I had a buggy to get me out past the walkable fringes. I saw some limited track, a doe and an undersized runt piggie but nothing to point at and blam...

Gets frustrating going this long without pulling a string or trigger but thats what its been. I'm not in the mood for giving up but may have to make some adjustments to my game. Maybe go someplace I havn't been. Just work longer and harder in the places i do know. I dunno...
