Another First For Wil

Put the full court press on tonight. Had both Wil and Caroline in the box on a hidden field. Had more snacks with us than a shore stop so everybody was happy. The farm we are hunting has bounty on an old doe named "old White Neck" She has busted more hunters than any other doe and clears the field almost every night. Well after watching a few deer that made it to field early Wil wants to wait for "Old White Neck" or a buck sure enough she comes out with a bunch of other mature does and they start getting close, but not quite as close as we want. Now it is tough to keep an eye on White Neck keep Wil up high enough to shoot out the window and Caroline needs to Pee....getting tense in the 4 x 4 box. Sure enough right as she gets close enough another bunch of does run over and mix it up followed by a 4 point that busts up the whole group. We where not able to pick out "Old White Neck" after the mix up, but a mature doe stood alone right out front at about 80 yds. Wil put the Hammer down. 1st Muzzleloader deer for Wil.

that last shot is a picture for the books. Mama's little princess has a whole new look to her. I like it!
